In our economy in today’s world, many things are missing. Good manners, good behavior, good doctors, good teachers, fathers missing from homes, kids missing from caring homes, good government leaders and even churches are missing honest preachers and pastors. What can be done for our delima?
The special link that is missing I believe it is back to basic and to bring back God and godliness in homes, schools and government. Without God in our lives homes and country we all will be missing out of what God can do for each of us. It was never like this, but hate, greed, selfishness, and unhealthy lifestyle has brought us to this point of need for God to come back and heal our hearts and homes and country.
In the Bible John chapter three, we have this educated and well trained man serving his country , who heard Jesus speaking to the masses, and doing great healing and giving good counsel, and he wanted to be up close and personal with Jesus.
The night trip after work: Nicodemus, after a good days work, felt that something was missing from his life, that work, family, friends could not fix. He met Jesus that night and brought all his questions. One of which was how to be born again. He was told that He must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. He wondered about the statement so their dialogue continued. The bottom line was that by the end of their talk Nicodemus accepted the verdict- He left feeling that what was missing he found.
Have you found what is missing in your life? Jesus is still reminding us that we need to allow Him to be the link that is missing in our life. You are not good enough , smart enough or financially able to fix your heart and mind. If you could, you would never need Jesus and He did not need to die for the sins of the world. Deep in our heart we have corrupted thoughts and we can do evil things to one another because of the sin that rules us. Jesus knew that we were in deep trouble and God the Father sent Him to die for us to wash away all sin and seek forgiveness.
Let His blood wash your wicked heart and stop the madness and embrace peace that only He can give. Young folk are killing themself and others, they are mean and defiant to parents, teachers and just about everyone. Proverbs 14:12 says, There is a way that seems right to a man but the end is the way of death. Make sure that when you die you will be with the One who died for you Jesus . In the grave , there is no repentance. Trust God like Nicodemus did and you will prosper, have peace, and your life with have real purpose.
